Frans Th. van Schaik, General Partner, LogiSpring
A graduate from the University of Amsterdam Law School, with a diploma in International Relations from the University of Vienna, Frans has enjoyed a diverse career spanning academia, entrepreneuship and venture capital.
Operating from his own investment and management development company, Nielaster, he then restructured, as their CEO, all the European pet food companies of Rafino Holdings (seven sites in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy). In 1998, he restructured in the role of Group Managing Director, the Industrial Division of the BCE Group (operating companies in Germany, Austria and Italy). In 1999 he initiated, in a joint venture with Goldman Sachs International, the “buy-and-build” of a Global Supply Chain Company in the Consumer Products Industry. In November 2000, TPG and Booz Allen Hamilton contacted Frans to discuss their ideas for establishing LogiSpring.
Frans sits on the Board of portfolio companies Kiala, Apriso and Datatrac. Since 1997 Frans has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Supervisory Board) of Observer Investments, and since 1999, Chairman of the Board of the MES Foundation. |

Nina Saberi, Managing General Partner, Castile Ventures
Nina Saberi has an investment focus on networking, enterprise security, and value-added mass market services. She currently serves or participates on the boards of Ahura Scientific, Aurora Networks, Brix Networks, ChosenSecurity, North End Technologies, and Trapeze Networks. She led Castile's investment in Sonus Networks (NASDAQ:SONS), GeoTrust (acquired by VeriSign), Network Intelligence (acquired by EMC), and was the chairman of Quantiva (acquired by NetScout) and of Stargus (acquired by C-COR).
An industry veteran with extensive investment and operational experience, Ms. Saberi founded Castile Ventures in 1998 to bring capital, deep industry expertise and hands-on management experience to a new generation of entrepreneurial businesses. Ms. Saberi joined the venture community as general partner of OneLiberty Ventures following a highly successful tenure as president and CEO of Netlink Inc. and as a senior executive at Cabletron. Under her vision and direction, Netlink became a leading network infrastructure provider with a global customer base including major telecommunications carriers and large enterprises. Netlink was acquired by Cabletron in 1996, ranking among the top acquisitions of the year.
Prior to Netlink, Ms. Saberi was general manager at Amnet, a company she was instrumental in turning around by leveraging OEM relationships with IBM, HP and BBN to fund new development, resulting in the company's sale in 1994. Before Amnet, Ms. Saberi managed an international joint venture for Data General, and held senior marketing/engineering roles with BBN. She started her career with venture-backed Avanti Communications and rose to the level of engineering director.
Nina is deeply engaged in the New England entrepreneurial community and was recognized for this effort in 2006 by being selected as a Massachusetts All Star by Mass High Tech in the Finance category. She was the past Chairman (2004-2006) of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council. Ms. Saberi is the Chair of the Advisory Council at the University of Rhode Island's College of Engineering where she received her BS in Electrical Engineering. URI honored Ms. Saberi with the 2007 President's Distinguished Achievement Award.

David L. Anderson, Managing Director, Supply Chain Ventures LLC
Dr. Anderson is Managing Director of Supply Chain Ventures, LLC, a venture capital and consulting company specializing in marketing, sales and supply chain software investing and is a retired managing partner of supply chain consulting at Accenture, a $20 billion global technology consulting company.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Optiant in Burlington, Massachusetts, of LeanLogistics of Holland, Michigan, of New Vine Logistics in Napa, California, of Aiko Biotechnology in Maine, and Chairman of Control Group, a New York City-based technology consulting and outsourcing company.
Dr. Anderson is on the Board of Advisors of Logispring Management Company s.a.r.l., Geneva Switzerland, a $200 million European venture fund specializing in supply chain investments and TrueDemand Software, Inc, a Los Gatos based company using real time data to enhance supply chain management.
Dr. Anderson received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Econometrics and Finance from Boston College and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut.

David T. Leach, CEO, eSecuritel Holdings LLC
Mr. Leach joined eSecuritel in March 2006 after leaving his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Datatrac, a supply chain and network services company in Atlanta, where he remains Chairman of the Board. Before Datatrac, he was Chief Operating Officer for Procuri Inc, an Atlanta-based leader in providing strategic sourcing software for enterprises.
Mr.Leach also co-founded Harbinger, Inc. in Atlanta in 1983, growing it to $155 million in revenue with $20 million in operating income, and eventually selling the company in June 2000 for $1.3 billion. Harbinger provided businesses of all sizes with software, value-added network services, business process outsourcing and consulting services to enable them to send and receive electronic documents and manage supply and demand chains. Over a 17-year career with the company, he held positions as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, President of the Financial Services Division, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman and Acting Chairman.
Mr.Leach has also served as a consultant with McKinsey Management Consultants as well as an Associate with Coopers and Lybrand.
Mr.Leach graduated with a B.A. from Sheffield University in England and received his MBA with honors from Harvard University. He is also an FCA, Fellow Chartered Accountant, from the United Kingdom, and is currently on several private and public boards.

Padman Ramankutty, Partner, Intrigo Systems LLC
Padman Ramankutty is a Partner at Intrigo Systems LLC and a well-noted supply chain expert. Mr. Ramankutty serves as a strategic advisor to industry-leading companies, including Nike and Rubbermaid, and brings to Optiant more than 20 years of experience and thought leadership in supply chain management and advanced planning and scheduling solutions.
Mr. Ramankutty previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Bristlecone, Inc., a global technology consulting company and provider of extended supply chain solutions. In his role, he oversaw the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for Bristlecone’s competencies in supply chain management, ERP, and applications management services. Achievements at Bristlecone included securing partnerships with SAP AG and SAP Labs India and merging with Mahindra Consulting.
Prior to founding Bristlecone in 1998, Mr. Ramankutty headed SAP’s High Tech Global Industry Business Unit where he successfully positioned SAP R/3 as the premier enterprise solution for the semiconductor industry. Padman has also played a key role in the development, strategic assessment and marketing of SAP's Supply Chain Optimization and MES programs. He has held senior operational positions in diverse industries ranging from aerospace and defense, food processing and engineering.
