Industry Veteran Brings Proven Success in Supply Chain Profitability

BOSTON (December 12, 2005) - Optiant, the leader in supply chain design and inventory optimization solutions, has named Rajib Roy as Senior Vice President of Industry Solutions. The company gains a seasoned executive with over 15 years of industry-specific knowledge and proven ability to increase supply chain profitability and customer satisfaction levels.

Rajib joins Optiant as the company continues to aggressively drive focus around industry-specific solutions for its PowerChain® inventory optimization suite in both the United States and Europe. Rajib's background in introducing new services to the market and establishing offshore delivery operations abroad will play a critical role in Optiant's growth strategy. Additionally, Rajib will be responsible for creating strategic and tactical plans for the core industries of Optiant that will drive cross-functional integration between sales, professional services and engineering.

Rajib joins Optiant from his tenure at i2 Technologies where he was the Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services and General Manager of the Supply Chain Business Unit. While at i2, he was responsible for increasing revenues and profitability of the supply chain suite of products as well as customer satisfaction and quality of delivery. Due to his extensive knowledge of supply chain solutions, Rajib also served in a personal advisor capacity during his time at i2, working with several top level customer executives.
